Living Independently for Equality, Inc. is a non profit 501c3 organization for physically disabled adults 18 years of age and over. In 1983, Rae Zuckerman, founder  reached out to help the physically disabled, many of whom are wheel chair bound. The LIFE Center, the only one of its kind in Massachusetts, has since been a haven for the physically disabled, who are former shut-ins, where friendships are kindled and lives take on a new meaning.
